Providence is calling a Quality Improvement Coordinator to Providence Murray Business Center in Beaverton, OR.

In this position, you will:
Have primary responsibility for directing and managing clinical improvement initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting improved healthcare outcomes and financial efficiencies.
Have a detailed understanding and can skillfully use the techniques of system design, lean principals, reengineering, project management, quality improvement, outcomes measurement, statistical analysis and change management.
Work closely with Triage Service Center (ProvRN, ProvBH and Resource Line) to establish a vision and direction for the Quality Improvement Program within the framework of current regulation, market initiatives, existing customer needs and Providence Health & Service's (PHS) strategic plan.
Utilize health information technology (electronic health records, TSC software program, data repository, etc.) and resulting data that will be a major component of the Quality Improvement (QI) program.
Be proficient with Microsoft Office products and multiple computer applications.
Collaborate with all members of the healthcare team.
Be accountable for personal behavior and ongoing professional behavior and development.
Required qualifications for this position include:
2 years of experience in quality improvement, and/or data analysis
Proficient computer skills: MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook
Demonstrated ability to work with customer/patient groups
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
Ability to deal effectively with a variety of people and perform in a team environment
Ability to multi‐task, prioritize and work under deadlines
Proficiency with data base software applications and data analysis
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's degree in health sciences, business, healthcare administration, health information management, or management engineering
Certification from a national association in quality improvement
Experience with project management, data capture, data mining and analysis, team facilitation, lean principals and change management
Progressive leadership experience
Experience working with SQL Experience in quality improvement, systems design, or project management in a healthcare setting
