Providence is calling a Registered Nurse - House Supervisor (0.0 FTE, Rotating/Variable) to Providence Milwaukie Hospital in Milwaukie, OR.
Bring your nursing leadership experience to our ministry for this on-call House Supervisor position. Flexibility needed to works days or nights and weekends to cover vacation and sick leave openings.
In this position, you will:
Be accountable for the provision and quality of nursing services at the facility level for a defined shift, in support of Providence Health & Services System and Regional goals.
Be responsible assuring a balance of optimal and efficient patient care; staff, patient, and physician satisfaction; and cooperative partnerships with other organizational departments and professional groups.
Perform with a constant focus on patient-centeredness, and staff and patient safety, while supporting standards and systems for care delivery for your facility.
Work with systems that promote evidence-based practice and are designed to support the management of productivity targets within a context of constant change in patient volumes, patient acuity, and available resources.
Provide leadership that consistently supports efficient and effective patient care services, and that support the organizational and system goals, which includes advancing the strategic vision and goals of the Oregon Nursing Center of Excellence.
Constructively manage change and promote a team-based approach.
Required qualifications for this position include
Nursing degree/diploma upon hire
Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) or higher required within three (3) years or20 years of RN experience.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (Required within 3 years of hire)
Current Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
6 years in nursing with experience in progressive leadership roles
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or master's degree in related field
