Providence Health & Services Medical Fellow Structural Heart in Portland, Oregon

Description:

Providence is calling a Structual Heart Medical Fellow to Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR.

In this position, you will:

  • Gain experience and training in the following;

  • Cinical pre-operative evaluation and imaging, inpatient and outpatient care

  • Multidisciplinary conference, post-procedural care

  • Patient discharge and structural heart clinical trials and research

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Candidates will be from an ACGME-accredited fellowship program in interventional cardiology or cardiovascular surgery and be either board-certified or board-eligible

  • The physician shall perform all aspects of medicine and procedural care, both inpatient and outpatient, as appropriate to his or her specialty, with cooperation required among multiple physicians and

  • administration from the Providence Health System

  • Completed training in an ACGME-accredited fellowship program in interventional cardiology or cardiovascular surgery and be either board-certified or board-eligible

  • Oregon Medical Board licensure and must be completed within the first 4 months of the fellowship

  • BLS

  • ACLS
