Providence Health & Services Registered Nurse Manager, Clinical Operations - Medical Procedures Unit / Endoscopy in Portland, Oregon
Providence is calling a Clinical Operations Registered Nurse Manager to join its Medical Procedures team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR. This is a full-time, exempt (salary) position. Typical work hours are 6:30am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday. This is a perfect opportunity for a RN with Surgical Services and management experience, to maintain work life balance while in a leadership role. The individual in this role has historically maintained a 40-45 hour work week.
Providence St. Vincent is a Magnet facility, with a highly functioning Surgical Services team overall. The Medical Procedures team conducts roughly 5,000 procedures per year (averaging 16 procedures per day), with just 4 procedure suites and a total of 17 staff members. Pocedures are performed regularly by approximately 30 Providers. This unit is one of a few inpatient teams who perform non-advanced therapeutic endoscopies on pediatric patients.

Be accountable for unit adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, policies, contracts, procedures, and standards of performance.
Develop and mentor direct reports and plans for succession.
Be informed by the highest level of evidence available when developing standards and modifying care delivery systems.
Actively support PH&S system, region, and local strategic priorities and programs.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing
Current Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) at time of hire
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) for Healthcare Provider within 6 months of hire
5 years in nursing with experience in progressive leadership roles
Various disciplines may have additional requirements
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master's Degree or higher in related field
Formal coursework in management, finance, and other administrative subjects
Previous management experience
National Certification from recognized professional organization in relevant field of clinical expertise
