Providence Health & Services Senior Data Analyst Population Health in Portland, Oregon
Providence is calling a Senior Data Analyst Population Health to Providence Health & Services in Portland OR, Seattle WA or Renton WA.
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst Population Health to lead the development of algorithms, metrics, reports, and dashboards needed to support population health initiatives and risk contracts. The incumbent will develop new analytic methods, implement methods found in the literature, and lead significant analytic projects as Providence expands population health and value-based care initiatives. The incumbent will make recommendations based on analyses and communicate results to Providence leadership and external partners. The Senior Data Analyst will also train and oversee the daily work of Data Analysts.
In this position you will:
Lead the development of algorithms, metrics, reports, and dashboards needed to support population health initiatives and risk contracts.
Develop new analytic methods, and implement methods found in the marketplace.
Lead significant analytic projects as Providence expands population health and value-based care initiatives.
Make recommendations based on analyses, and communicate results to Providence leadership and external partners.
Train and oversee the daily work of Data Analysts.
Required qualifications for this position include:
At least 5-8 years of experience writing complex SQL queries and at least 2 years working with claims data.
Extensive experience performing complex analyses with adjudicated claims and other healthcare data.
Experience designing and implementing complex algorithms and/or quality metrics.
Experience working with relational data tables.
Experience with T-SQL and writing stored procedures.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Advanced degree in a related field (e.g. Health Informatics, MPH, MBA, Statistics, Computer Science, etc.).
