Providence Health & Services Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)-Elderplace in Beaverton, Oregon
Providence is calling a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) (0.8 FTE, Days) to Providence ElderPlace Day Center in Beaverton, OR.
In this position, you will:
Assess the needs and provides Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) services and direct treatment in consultation with the Occupational Therapist.
Function as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team.
Be responsible for home care coordination.
Perform all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the Providence Health Plan mission and philosophy.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Degree from an accredited Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) program
Current COTA registration and licensure through the State of Oregon
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
1 year of experience in working with a frail or elderly population
Able to travel between sites in a timely manner as assigned
In compliance with company policy and state regulations, a Department of Human Services (DHS) criminal background check may be required for this position based upon the location of the position. Fingerprinting may be required also.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- 1 year of experience in the area of Occupational Therapy as a COTA
