Providence is calling a Data Solutions Systems Analyst, HRIS PSJH to Providence Health & Services in Renton, WA, or Irvine, CA or Virtual.
We are seeking a Data Solutions Systems Analyst, HRIS to Provide advanced expertise of system flows, analysis, system tools and database architecture. In-depth understanding of varied reporting tools and analytic applications. Serves in an advisory role in making recommendations for the best in practice of data solution(s). Facilitates in the oversight of planning, development and implementation of reporting and analytic work efforts. Demonstrates competency by maintaining positive, constructive interpersonal relationships by understanding and practicing the principles of effective teamwork. Illustrates a strong team leadership presence by providing team mentorship. Performs complex business data and process analysis with internal customers to identify improvement opportunities. Analyze, design, develop, and test reports to contribute to system decision-making, scoping and planning for HR system projects in support of the overall HR strategy.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Design solutions utilizing a comprehensive understanding of reporting tools and analytic applications to meet technical and business requirements, with an ability to perform iterative solution testing
Design and develop data solutions that enable effective self-service data consumption
Partner with stakeholders in defining metrics that are impactful to the business and prioritize efforts based on customer value
Act as a technical leader and mentor to lower level HRIS Analyst by providing guidance in HRIS operations, processes & procedures and in research/analysis approach
Design strategies and programs to collect, store, analyze and visualize data from various sources for specific projects
Set expectations for deliverables of high complexity
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree - Finance, Human Resources, Computer Science, Business Mgmt. or related field or Equivalent work experience
7 years In-depth system knowledge and demonstrated experience with process flow, configuration design and integrations in complex HR and/or payroll systems (e.g. Lawson, Infor, Workday, Oracle, ADP, Kronos, Taleo, Success Factors)
7 years of demonstrated experience supporting and implementing complex HR and/or payroll systems (e.g. Lawson, Infor, Workday, Oracle, ADP, Kronos, Taleo, Success Factors)
7 years experience in reporting tools and analytic applications for HR, payroll and related data for large, complex organizations from multiple systems and sources
Ability to work independently or as part of a team as appropriate
Demonstrate competency by maintaining positive, constructive interpersonal relationships, and by understanding and practicing the principles of effective teamwork
Ability to work across multiple functional areas and with many diverse user communities
Ability to prioritize and organize short-term and long-term responsibilities in response to changing demands.
Outstanding listening, written, and verbal communication and documentation skills, including the presentation of complex subjects in a clear and precise manner
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a discrete and professional manner
Possess a passion for solving complex problems while handling multiple tasks and responsibilities
Logical approach to solutions and good conceptual ability and skills in analysis
Deliver clear and concise presentations and/or recommendations to leadership both at the tactical and strategic level
Functional/Technical knowledge of HR applications and databases - (e.g. Workday, Oracle, Lawson, Kronos, Taleo, Success Factors, Employee Health systems, Document imaging systems, Reporting/Analytics applications, etc.)
In-depth knowledge of HR system capabilities in one or more modules, including cross-functional data relationships, process flows, security protocols, testing and troubleshooting procedures
Advanced knowledge of table or business object structures, data relationships, utilizing varied reporting/analytic tools cross multiple databases and data sources
Broad knowledge of HR operations, business practices and regulatory needs
Skilled in translating business needs into system or report specifications and design for complex requests
Skilled in working with technical teams to address system interface needs and issue resolution
Knowledge of project management tools, change control and methodologies around system implementations, upgrades and fixes
Act as a technical leader and mentor to lower level HRIS Analyst by providing guidance in HRIS operations, processes & procedures and in research/analysis approach.
Leadership abilities to include leading workstreams, conducting meetings, presentations to HR users and leaders, training sessions, etc.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- PHR, SPHR certification, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP
