Providence is calling a Healthcare Data Analyst 1 to Providence Health Plan in Beaverton, OR.
In this position, you will:
Develop processes, write database scripts, and create reports using analytic tools such as SQL Server, SSRS, Excel, and/or Tableau.
Analyze information in reports to identify issues, trends, or interesting findings to be shared with the business customer.
Help the business customer to interpret and understand data in reports and how to apply the findings as related to healthcare quality improvement efforts, and/or financial analysis.
Organize, prepare, and distribute clinical and operational reports for quantitative measurements utilizing multiple data systems.
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in a highly quantitative field plus a minimum of three years of experience in data analysis or equivalent experience (High School Education or equivalent plus a minimum of five years of experience in data analysis) required.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to read, write, and maintain SQL Code
Strong computer skills and use of analytical tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPivot, SQL Server, SSRS, Tableau)
Healthcare organization/health insurer experience
Data analysis using OLAP cube environment
HEDIS/ NCQA/ CCO quality reporting
