Providence Health & Services Production Control Analyst in Beaverton, Oregon
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Production Control Analyst to our location in Beaverton, OR.
We are seeking a Production Control Analyst who will provide system support and project related activities for Information Services. Analysts work with customers, vendors, consultants, and other Information Services staff in performing their duties. On call support is usually a requirement for an analyst. These responsibilities span the Providence Health System facilities throughout the Oregon region. At times, analysts will be expected to assist other PHS IS employees in other service areas.
An analyst can advance through the defined levels of this job category. All IS caregivers are expected to possess an understanding of Providence Health Plans and the Information Services departmental goals, strategies, and roadmap.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
IS TEAM INVOLVEMENT/INTERACTION:
Participating in cross-functional teams and committees within Information Services Division, typically within an agile team working in a Kanban format. Uses appreciable originality on assignments; discusses or seeks approval on complex issues.
Occasionally contribute to efforts to innovate and improve processes, policies, techniques and best practices supporting department and team goals.
Analyze work plans for operational impact and ensure plans are appropriately documented.
Analyze and/or implement EDI processing (review and correct EDI failures).
Executes the necessary investigation, analysis and evaluation to determine scope of work.
Examines submitted service requests and defines customer requirements, and system requirements for resolution or reassignment.
Works closely with the business users and IS Teams to ensure solutions effectively meeting business needs and preserve operational integrity.
Evaluate proposed changes to the environment and recommend appropriate remediation or enhancements.
Diagnose user problems/questions, and coordinate solutions for customers.
Track, report and identify problems and recommend solutions (escalate as necessary).
Support, test, coordinate or perform technology installations including: upgrades, moves, ads, changes, fixes, and patches.
System monitoring as necessary to ensure all SLA's are met.
Disaster Recovery Planning, acquisition planning, volume/capacity planning, and configuration planning.
Processing Performance analysis and optimization.
Provides enterprise scheduling tool expertise, and the scripting skills necessary to automate production processing.
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree and 3 year of industry related experience -OR- 5 years of industry related experience. Industry related has a strong preference for all of the experience being from a Production Control Analyst position in a healthcare payor setting.
