Providence Program Manager in Beaverton, Oregon
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Representative Strategic Accounts to our location in Beaverton, OR.
We are seeking a Representative Strategic Accounts who will be responsible for engaging with provider groups in value-based contracts to share and interpret data in support of better health, better care, and lower total cost of care outcomes. Healthcare experience highly preferred. Such groups include: primary care, specialty, behavioral health, and facilities/organizational providers.
The Strategic Accounts Representative role is an opportunity for an mid-career professional interested in implementing an integrated, aggressive outreach strategy to support quality, risk adjustment, and efficiency performance among provider groups engaged in value-based payment arrangements. This position must be able to effectively work individually and as part of a team to articulate and coach provider partners in the complexities of value-based contracts, quality measures, risk adjustment strategies, and aid provider groups through the effective use of data reports.
As a member of the Strategic Accounts Management team, the Representative will be accountable for working with provider groups to achieve annual goals, evaluate progress to goal, identify/analyze emerging business needs, and conduct effective provider outreach and engagement for performance improvement.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Support the development of annual plans for PHP strategic engagement with provider partners engaged in value-based contracts. Plan will include goals and evaluation of quality and risk capture to show impact of engagement efforts.
Engage key medical group leaders on a routine basis to jointly analyze and explore strategies for acting on PHP data reports. Approximately 50% of time will be spent in the field or in virtual meetings with provider groups. Must be a trusted and knowledgeable resource to partners on diverse topics and able to organize internal subject matter experts to provide technical expertise.
Collaborate with Coding, Quality, and Informatics teams to discern appropriate interventions for identified performance opportunities and enhancements to data sharing/reports.
Collaborate with Quality, Coding, and Provider Contracting to inform updates and evolution of value-based contracts.
Collaborate with Provider Relations, Medical Management, Pharmacy, Care Management, Behavioral Health, and Medical Directors to stay apprised of program and policy changes impacting provider partners.
Perform under minimal supervision with accountability for specific goals/objectives.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree or 5 years of relevant experience in the health insurance industry.
Master's Degree or 5 years of relevant experience in health insurance industry.
5 years Experience in project management, program evaluation, team facilitation, data analysis, and/or medical management.
3 years Quality management/improvement experience; or risk adjustment experience.
Strong experience in Excel functions, PowerPoint presentations, including data visualization/graph/chart functions within these programs.
Ability to represent the company with external constituents.
Demonstrated analytical skills.
Possesses a high degree of initiative.
Develops and delivers effective presentations.
Ability to drive multiple projects to successful completion.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
