Senior Business Systems Analyst - IT DEVELOPMENT TEAM OR REGION at Providence Health Plan Partners
This role is remote will be located in the Providence footprint of AK, WA, OR, CA, or TX. The ideal candidate will be located in OR/Southwest WA.
The Business Systems Analyst 3 is responsible for coordinating with vendors, partners, architects, project management, other caregivers within their agile team and throughout the company to facilitate meetings, manage structured email correspondence and organize virtual sessions to elicit and document requirements of various types for initiatives supporting all departments within Providence Health Plans.
Business Systems Analyst 3 will be a member of an agile development team. As such participation in team meeting and upholding team rules is fundamental. Business Systems Analyst 3 are expected to be able to create well-formed user stories with acceptance criteria.
Takes initiative to identify and participate in addressing and solving team level procedural, functional, interpersonal and communication issues including collaboration, negotiation and conflict resolution.
Organizing, attending, participating and documenting all agile team ceremonies such that they produce tangible business value including Standups, Quarterly Road Mappings, Stakeholder Prioritizations, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning and Retrospectives.
Frequently able to independently read, create, troubleshoot SQL queries and stored procs using the correct environmental data sources. Frequently able to independently analyze source datasets and results as part of requirements gathering and testing process.
Update and maintain process workflows, mapping documents, business rules by working with various departments within Providence and external business partners. Provide explanation of the documentation to the agile team members.
Provide support and guidance to junior Business Systems Analysts as needed.

Demonstrated experience using LEAN techniques in analyzing requirements for potential automation.
