Providence Health & Services Senior IAM Provisioning Analyst in Beaverton, Oregon
Providence is calling an IAM Provisioning Senior Analyst to Providence Health & Services in Renton, WA or Beaverton, PR.
The Identity & Access Management (IAM) Provisioning team is responsible for provisioning of access; the process of creating, maintaining, and removing user accounts to various systems, ensuring the right level of access at the right time. IAM Senior Analysts support and perform the operational work of developing, training on, and implementing support processes for new application implementations, working under established guidelines, policies and protocols. This position ensures the proper access to all types of enterprise applications and data communications systems and services for each customer.
Under the general direction of the Identity and Access Management Operations Manager, this position is responsible for a blend of duties, most heavily focused on internal process development, documentation, and training as well as new systems integration and onboarding. The ideal candidate will have broad knowledge of IAM disciplines as well as an established history being able to work assist with creating and implementing new operational processes. This role will work closely with other groups throughout the organization, as well as collaborate directly with operational supervisors.
Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lifecycle management of enterprise end user accounts in various enterprise applications, including Epic, Exchange, and Active Directory;
Analyze, troubleshoot, and support end users and departments access levels and accounts;
Design and document enterprise user account and workflow management to maintain and improve data quality and efficiencies;
Consult and coordinate with enterprise stakeholders to develop, integrate, and deploy processes;
Works in a team environment to optimize the identity management environment to ensure scalability, repeatability and reliability;
Demonstrates thorough knowledge of all IAM provisioning and fulfillment processes in use throughout the enterprise;
Supports, improves, and documents existing IAM processes and procedures;
Maintains process documentation as processes changes are implemented;
Demonstrates thorough knowledge of IT security, compliance, and Identity Management;
Works directly with IAM Solutions Staff and Manager to provide specifications to automate tasks which have proven to be standard and repetitive, or where automation may remove variability and recurring human error;
Identifies opportunities and outlines action plans to improve existing IAM operations and processes;
Process changes related to identity and access.
This position provides services as required by a 24/7/365 hospital and clinical environment. The services provided by the Identity and Access Management department include access to and maintenance for Providence Health and Services resources, clinical systems, and business applications. The environment is composed of thousands of user and contact records across hundreds of systems and a multitude of Active Directory domains and forests.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree or four years of related education, experience, or training, in a distributed computing, healthcare, or customer service environment (or a combination of education and experience).
4 years experience in an access control/security related position that had similar primary duties in addition to education requirements.
Demonstrated ability to lead others.
Prior experience in an Analyst 2 or equivalent role in a distributed computing environment.
Knowledge of current and emerging technologies, service delivery processes, clinical practices, and inpatient or outpatient operations.
Skilled at time management, and strong written and verbal communication.
Ability to remain poised, patient, and respectful in difficult situations.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
College or professional coursework in building teams, communication, conflict resolution, or motivation.
Two current professional or technical certifications.
