Providence is calling a Cleaning Attendants to Providence Milwaukie Hospital in Milwaukie, OR. These are full-time 40 hour a week positions. We have day, evening and night shifts available. Shifts are aligned to a rotating schedule and require weekend and holiday availability. These p ositions start at $14.45 per hour and include a full benefits package and free annual tri-met pass.

We are seeking a Cleaning Attendant - Environmental Services who will perform cleaning tasks in an assigned area of Providence Health Systems hospitals and medical centers, medical office buildings or satellites to provide a sanitary, orderly and attractive environment. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the Sisters' of Providence mission and philosophy. Successful performance contributes to a holistic approach to the delivery of services, improved patient care, and a high level of satisfaction from patients, families, staff, and physicians.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Thoroughly clean and disinfect high touch surfaces daily to prevent the spread of infection
Clean floors by shampooing, vacuuming carpets and mopping tile and linoleum floors
Shampoo the furnitures
Dispose of all waste in accordance with department, hospital, industry and regulatory standards
Perform cleaning functions as a TEAM in assigned areas following established procedures to meet Infection Prevention, Quality Control and Safety standards
Collect soiled linen and transporting to designated location
Replenish hand hygiene products, paper products, sharps containers and other dispensable items in designated fashion
Required qualification in this position include:
- Coursework/Training: On-the-job training
Preferred qualification in this position include:
- High School Diploma -OR- GED
