We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant 2 - Medical Surgical that will perform clinical duties and assists licensed nursing personnel in the provision of basic nursing tasks.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge procedures as delegated
Answer call lights and respond to patient requests; refers to RN as appropriate
Collect, record and report patient data
Assist patients with all aspects of personal care, and mobility needs
Assist with nutrition and hydration
Provide toileting assistance, when needed
Collect Specimen: urine, stool, sputum. Perform Hemocult test
Required q ualifications for this position includes:
Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care Certified Nursing Assistant 2 (CNA 2) course, -OR- "grandfathered" to CNA 2 per OSBN requirements
Active and unencumbered license in the state of Oregon as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Preferred q ualifications for this position include:
One (1) year General hospital experience
One (1) year Experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant 2 (CNA 2)
