Providence Office Clinic Coordinator - Heart Clinic Willamette Falls in Oregon City, Oregon


Providence is calling an Office Clinic Coordinator - Heart Clinic Willamette Falls (1.0 FTE, Days) to Willamette Falls Medical Office Building in Oregon City, OR.

We are seeking an Office Clinic Coordinator - Heart Clinic Willamette Falls who wil assist the Dept. Manager or Supervisor with the operations and activities of the Department. Assists Dept. Manager or Supervisor with staff to ensure that patient care services are provided in a timely, clinically sound manner which is sensitive to the patient's physical, psychological, and spiritual needs. Assists the Dept. Manager or Supervisor with staff to ensure that business office functions are performed in a timely and accurate manner.

I n this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Assist Dept. Manager or Supervisor with all aspects of daily clinic and/or ancillary operations

  • Assignsclinical and/or ancillary and/or business office and/or support duties to staff in accordance with skills and abilities

  • Develop and implements the daily work schedule. Provides back up staffing, as needed

  • Assist Dept. Manager or Supervisor with the recruiting, hiring, training and supervising of staff

  • Perform performance evaluations or input to Dept. Manager or Supervisor for performance evaluations

  • Assist Dept. Manager or Supervisor with counseling employees on positive and negative performance. Implements disciplinary action, as needed

  • Monitor front office, ancillary departments, business office, and back office operations including; registrations, demographic and insurance information collection, obtaining consents and releases, scheduling, patient flow, medical records, billing, collections, nursing, and patient care

  • Oversee and/or assist with daily and monthly accounting and banking functions and procedures as needed

  • Provide clinic accounting department with required information in a timely manner

  • Identify and solve patient concerns, questions, and suggestions


Required qualifications:

  • 2 years experience in the healthcare environment.

Preferred qualificaitons:

  • College coursework in the Healthcare field.
