Providence is calling an LCSW or LPC Supervisor for Outpatient Mental Health Adolescent (1.0 FTE, Rotating/Variable shift) to Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center in Oregon City , OR

We are seeking a Supervisor that will provide clinical leadership and supervision in assessment, treatment planning and clinical interventions provided by licensed therapists in the hospital outpatient setting. The Supervisor will implement and promote excellence in clinical standards of care, program services, clinical practice by Therapists, comprehensive and cost effective patient care. Supervisor will provide day-to-day oversight to partial hospital and intensive outpatient levels of care for individuals with mental health, substance use and eating disorders. Supervisor will participate as a member of the management team, participate in strategies for staff development and required state certification. Supervisor will participate in implementation of outcome measures and establish metrics and processes to measure effectiveness of treatment.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations, including staffing and scheduling

  • Ensure adherence to the clinical model and supports integrity of the program

  • Manage emergent patient concerns

  • Provide leadership in planning, coordination and managing care of complex patients, focusing on multidisciplinary interactions

  • Provide clinical supervision of licensed therapist based on regulatory guidelines as well as provides clinical supervision for unlicensed therapist to obtain their licenses

  • Assist with processes to improve and maintain quality patient outcomes and contribute to the advancement of professional practice

  • In collaboration with BH Manager, plans, implements and evaluates staff development programs, practice changes which are consistent with regulatory requirements, improve patient care, promote innovation and continually increase levels of clinical practice individually and for the service as a whole

  • Evaluate ongoing effectiveness of care processes and recommends changes as needed

  • Provide direct patient care and/or consultation in area of specialty as needed

  • Evaluate ongoing effectiveness of care processes and recommends changes as needed

  • Evaluate staff in management of patients with rapidly changing conditions, intervenes and coaches as needed

  • Coach and mentor staff in their orientation to and development within the department and professional practice

  • Establish and evaluate staff competency and performance in partnership BH Manager

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position includes:

  • Master's Degree in Behavioral health fields such as Social Work and Licensed Professional Counselor

  • Appropriate clinical licensure to field of study

  • Five (5) years of experience with 3 of those years in the acute setting

  • Experience to include advanced clinical experience in behavioral health patient care

Preferred qualifications for this position includes:

  • Coursework/Training: Documented course completion in provision of clinical supervision endorsed by NASW or APA

  • Successful completion within six (6) months of hire

  • Progressive Leadership experience

  • Higher level of care experience, crisis work, inpatient, ED diverse level of care or Community based care
