Providence Annual Giving Program Director in Portland, Oregon
Providence is calling an Annual Giving Program Director to Providence Oregon Regional Shared Services in Portland, OR.
We are seeking an Annual Giving Program Director who will lead and coordinate all annual giving efforts, including strategy, direct mail, and online fundraising, for ten Providence foundations across Oregon.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Lead strategy development and implementation for a robust statewide annual giving program, in collaboration with ten Executive Directors of Providence Oregon Foundations, including outlining tactics and managing budgets
Manage all direct mail fundraising for ten foundations
Design and implement a digital giving strategy, including email, website, and social media
Collaborate with the communications team to ensure donor-facing website content is updated regularly with engaging and relevant stories
Collaborate with gift officers to identify major donor and planned giving prospects that surface in the annual giving and Grateful Patient programs
Manage and grow the Caregiver Campaign: Providence Oregon’s statewide employee giving effort
Collaborate with gift officers and the Regional Director to grow the Grateful Patient program: Providence Oregon’s statewide annual giving in-hospital donor acquisition program
Collaborate with gift officers and the Regional Director to explore special giving opportunities
Liaise with annual giving outside contractors
Refine donor stewardship strategy for annual giving donors and roll out state-wide, including creating and implementing a welcome packet and process for all first-time donors
Evaluate and implement third-party fundraising events and campaigns
Required qualifications for this position includes:
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, - or - Fundraising
Five (5) years of Annual giving experience, preferably in a leadership role
Demonstrated written communication skills
Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
Strong verbal communication and listening skills
Effective interpersonal skills
Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities
Excellent organizational skills
Possesses a high degree of initiative
Friendly and service-oriented
Ability to drive multiple projects to successful completion
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Two (2) years of experience with Blackbaud / Raiser's Edge Software
