Providence is calling a Certified Nursing Assistant 2/Activity Aide (0.8 Rotating/Variable) to Providence Child Center, Center for Medically Fragile Children in Portland, OR.

This is a 0.8 FTE, variable position.
The two-week orientation schedule is mandatory which isMonday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Typical hours ofoperation are 11:00am - 7:30pm (Monday - Friday) or (Tuesday - Saturday) with aschedule of 9:00am - 5:30pm on Saturdays and some schedule periods may includeSundays.
In this position, you will:
Perform basic activity and life enrichment functions and other duties under the direction and supervision of the recreational activity manager.
Perform all duties in a manner which promotes team concept, and reflects a quality of life concept, the Philosophy of Providence Child Center and the Sisters of Providence mission.

Required qualifications for this position include:
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) II certificate through the Oregon State Board of Nursing
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Heathcare Provider
18 years or older in order to use certain equipment with age restrictions
Valid Driver's License
Driving record within Providence Health & Services (PHS) Driving Policy
In Compliance with the Department of Human Services (DHS), a criminal background check is required for this position.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- 1 year experience with children, health care setting; recreational setting accepted
