Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - Providence Portland Medical Center - 0.8 FTE, Days

The Occupational Therapy Assistant under the direction of an occupational therapist, provides skilled occupational therapy to patients/clients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities, taking into account individual patient's special physical or age-related needs. Requires skills in patient/client treatment, as well as professional consultations to achieve maximum patient/client independence in accordance with individual's functional level and potential. Works with a multidisciplinary team.

Required qualifications:

  • Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.

  • May require specialized OTA training to meet a particular department need or equivalent educ/experience

  • Upon hire: Oregon Occupational Therapist Assistant License

  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
