Clinical Pharmacy Specialist - Inpatient Cardiology - Providence St. Vincent Medical Center - 1.0 FTE, Days
The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist assists the Manager of Clinical Pharmacy Services and the pharmacy management team in the provision of clinical pharmacy services within a specialty area (e.g. critical care, oncology, medicine, cardiology). As a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist – Inpatient Cardiology, you will provide care to patients in our cardiology wards, frequently practicing under collaborative drug therapy management agreements. At the cardiac center for the Providence Oregon Region, you will care for complex patients, including those receiving advanced heart failure therapies and heart transplant. You will develop policies and projects to advance the care of cardiology patients. You will be a preceptor for our large residency class and for students in our layered learning model. Our pharmacists work four 10-hour shifts per week (weekdays and every third weekend) which will be primarily days and evenings.
Graduate from an accredited College of Pharmacy
PGY-1 Residency or equivalent education/experience
PGY-2 Residency or equivalent education/experience
Oregon Pharmacist License upon hire
National Certification from Board of Pharmacy Specialties upon hire
