Providence is calling a Clinical Research Assistant to Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, East Pavilion in Portland, OR. Providence Brain & Spine Institute is a comprehensive clinical program that treats all conditions of the brain, spine and nervous system. Our recognized specialists work together as a team to provide patients with advanced medical expertise and compassionate care. Researchers at the institute are evaluating the treatments of the future with clinical trials and research in multiple sclerosis, stroke, Alzheimer’s disease, ALS, epilepsy, brain tumors, spine disorders and intracranial hemorrhage. Through clinical trials, patients have access to new drugs and procedures that may improve their care and quality of life.

In this position, you will:
Assist clinical research activities and perform research data compilation and management support functions for Neurosciences/Providence Brain Institute department.
Perform all duties in a manner, which promotes team concept and reflects the Providence Health & Services mission & philosophy.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working within a clinical practice required for neurology/related experience
Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft applications, Internet, and e-mail
Proficiency in using other office electronic equipment
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Post high-school education and/or research experience
Prior experience in conducting interviews and administering surveys (1:1 and/or phone)
Experience with clinical research trials as an assistant to a Clinical Trials Coordinator
