CNA 2/HUC - Clinical Decision Unit at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR. This position will work three (3), 12-hour days shifts a week.
$4,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant 2 (CNA 2)/ Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) - Clinical Decision Unit to assist a Registered Nurse (RN) in providing comprehensive nursing care by performing specified duties and functions under the direct supervision of the RN.
Required qualifications for this position includes:
Health Unit Coordinator or secretarial coursework -OR- one (1) year experience performing secretarial duties in a health care environment
Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care CNA2 course -OR- Grandfathered to CNA2 per OSBN requirements
Active and unencumbered license in the state of Oregon as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience with a variety of software applications
Preferred qualifications for this position includes:
One (1) year Acute care hospital experience, ideally performing CNA and/or Health Unit Coordinator duties
One (1) year experience as a CNA 2
