We are seeking a Cook - Glendoveer Residential Care Facility who will produce foods of high quality for participants and visitors. Assures safe food handling techniques are used at all times in food storage, preparation, and serving.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Cook entrees, starches, vegetables, soups, rolls, and baked goods, according to recipes and food preparation knowledge using kitchen production equipment
Assure foods are prepared and ready at specified times
Assure foods are maintained, produced, held, and served at correct temperatures
Assure foods are batch cooked and areas are re-supplied as needed
Use safe food handling procedures in all food prep and production duties
Assure foods are at specified locations as needed
Clean and sanitize food storage areas, food preparation surfaces, and equipment
Required qualifications for this position includes:
Current Multinomah County Food Handler's Certificate
Two (2) years Experience in hot food production.
Utilize experience when recipes are not available
Preferred qualifications for this position includes:
Serve-safe training certificate
Knowledge of food production for therapeutic diets
