Providence Health & Services Engineer Program Manager I in Portland, Oregon

Description:

Providence St. Joseph Health is calling an Engineer Program Manager 1 to one of our locations in Redmond, WA, Seattle, WA, Renton, WA, Irvine, CA, or Portland, OR.

We are seeking an Engineer Program Manager 1 who will lead and execute projects for the office of the CISO within Enterprise Information Security. Their responsibilities span the life of the solution or service and include collaboration with engineering and business stakeholders, engaging with caregivers, working with engineering to define the solution or service, managing the release, establishing the solution/service's identity in the ecosystem, and connecting with and supporting the caregiver community. This role will work in a fast-paced environment and will require understanding our customer needs, analysis and design, problem solving, decision making, collaboration and communication.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Program Management functions: Manage small to medium sized programs or contribute to large and complex programs. Skillset includes: Problem solving, analysis, design, risk management, documenting business process, collaboration, and communication.

  • Solution and Service: Creates design options for features.

  • Solution and Service Design: Creates, evolves, and communicates feature specifications that align to the vision and enable engineering peers to conduct their workflows.

  • Caregiver lifecycle: Produces tools and materials for features that will be used by caregiver support, marketing, or sales to drive education and adoption. Produces demos and trainings for internal stakeholders and partners.

  • Engineering lifecycle: Uses a systematic method to provide accurate time estimates. Participates in design, code, and test planning and reviews.

  • Solution and Service ownership: Identifies unaddressed issues and resolves, escalates, or finds the appropriate owner to ensure the highest level of quality. Uses the solution/service regularly to understand it thoroughly and discover ways to improve it.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent education/experience.

  • 1 year related experience,

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • 1-3 years related experience.

  • Experience in a Healthcare environment.
