Providence is calling a Financial Planning And Analysis Manager to Providence Health Plan in Portland, OR.
In this position, you will:
Manage all financial planning, internal financial reporting and financial analysis activities for the Providence Health Plans.
Manage and develop a team of high performing Accountants, reporting for three different legal entities (PPP, PHP, PHA).
Manage the annual budgeting (operating, capital, Balance Sheet, and RBC) process and financial forecasting for the above entities.
Coordinate all budget assumptions related to revenue, medical expenses, administrative expenses, FTEs, projects and capital.
Be responsible for the creation and distribution of the internal financial reporting package including analysis against budget, forecast and the prior-year.
Have responsibilities that will also include financial modeling for geographic expansion and new products.
Support the completion of business plans for a variety of initiatives including line of business development.
Lead competitive analysis studies and reporting.
Perform all duties in a manner which promotes a team concept and reflects the PSJH mission and values.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
8-10 years accounting or financial planning experience
5-7 seven years of management experience
Excellent computer skills
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Certified public accountant (CPA) or Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Healthcare or Health insurance experience
