Providence is calling a Food Service Assistant - Dishwasher to Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. This is a full-time, evening shift position with full benefits. Schedule is Monday - Friday, 1:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

We are seeking a Food Service Assistant who will support the Dietary team by providing high volume dishroom support, washing dishes and pots and pans.
In this position you will be responsible for the following responsibilities:
Load dirty dishes into machine and unloads clean dishes and equipment into specified dispensers and stores in proper location
Adhere to the Service Excellence Standards of Behavior guidelines at all times.
Enusre proper sanitation procedures and practices must be following to assure the cleanliness and sanitation of ware-washing, service-ware, equipment in the work area.
Adhere to County/State Health department, hospital, and department standards, policies and procedures at all times.
Required qualifications for this position includes:
High School diploma -OR- GED
Valid Oregon Food Handlers Certificate or ServSafe Certification at the time of hire
Preferred qualifications for this position includes:
- Experience in healthcare facility or large food service operation
