Providence Health & Services Human Resources Strategic Program Manager PSJH in Portland, Oregon
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Human Resources Strategic Program Manager PSJH to our location in Portland, OR. This position will start working remotely and then post-Covid will move to a hybrid schedule of working remotely part of the week and in the office part of the week, so candidates must be within a reasonable commute of an administrative location.
We are seeking a Human Resources Strategic Program Manager to serve as consultant and strategic thought partner for senior Field HR and operational leaders to design talent solutions that drive business objectives. This role will have significant engagement with our field HR teams regarding labor relations. They will partner on specific regional engagement strategies. Preparing materials, monitoring progress, meeting with key stakeholders. They need to have a keen eye on evaluating the labor impacts of evolving business needs and direction and recommends actions to be taken. Collaborates with COE resources to deliver enterprise level designed people programs that enable quadruple aim outcomes.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Contributes to the business strategy by helping Field HR and business leaders identify, and build organizational capabilities.
Identifies and drives the sharing of best practices across functions to facilitate continuous improvement.
Using our labor principles to ensure alignment with organizational strategy.
In collaboration with COE's, uses internal and external resources & tools to design and facilitate implementation of talent initiatives such as workforce planning and organization design that support and enable organization objectives.
Interprets HR data and recommends solutions based on the analysis.
Facilitates implementation of enterprise level HR strategies and initiatives to ensure localized change management and communication plans.
Serves as a consultant to COEs and initiative leaders regarding HR region, facility or service line business needs, cultures, and change and communication requirements.
Provides training or facilitates events to educate HR teams on new initiatives and strategies.
Supports the orientation and assimilation of new HR team members by assisting the HR manager or director with assimilation plan development and through direct delivery of training on HR resources, systems and protocols.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, HR Management, or related field and/or equivalent education/experience.
8 years of professional human resources or related experience.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master's Degree in Business Administration, HR Management, or related field.
