Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Manager Employee Health Services PSJH to our location in Portland, OR.
We are seeking afor a Manager Employee Health Services PSJH who will be responsible for the oversight, coordination and regulatory compliance of CHS daily operations. Provide leadership, direction and general supervision of team members. Coordinate with the EH Regional Director in the development, creation and implementation of programs, policies and procedures both system-wide and to meet local requirements. Responsible for managing labor and department expenses on a daily basis.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Oversees daily operations and functions of caregiver Health Services, including staffing supervision and general orientation of new CHS caregivers.
Supervises CHS team members and provides guidance and advise regarding services.
Evaluates performance, mentors team members, and manages behavior and expectations.
Collaborates with key department leaders to optimize services provided.
Participates in regulatory surveys, sharing policies, processes and key contributions of CHS.
Regularly researches Federal and State statutes and regulations related to employee health and safety to remain in compliance with local, state and federal requirements.
Conducts internal audits to ensure accuracy of data entry, use of standard operating procedures and quality assurance.
Delegates, participates and/or reports out to Environment of Care, Safety, Infection Prevention or other appropriate committees and takes action to address trends.
Attends huddle, core leader meetings and engages with local executive teams to share key metrics and information on programs, processes, policy changes.
Regular travel to ministries of responsibility, occasional travel to system office or other location for collaborative meetings or projects.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (if RN) or Related field (non-RN), or equivalent education/experience.
Registered Nurse (RN).
6 years related experience.
4 years leadership experience.
Supervising healthcare regulatory compliance.
Healthcare related occupation with demonstrated supervisory abilities.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Nurse Occupational Health.
CAP green belt certification.
