Full Time and Part Time Shift:
Full time position, 40 hours per week (1.0 FTE). This position is benefit eligible that start on day one.
Part time position, 20-32 hours per week. This position is benefit eligible that start on day one.
We are seeking a Patient Relations Representative (PRR) - Staffing Resource Department to be the first point of contact to patients or visitors in person or by phone. This position plays a key role in maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service and serve as first point of contact to patients or visitors in person or by phone
Navigate multiple and complex data systems to research and/or record pertinent information in compliance with policies
Operate multi-line telephone system; route calls and respond to general inquiries
Register patients; update demographic and insurance information
Make patient appointments and monitor appointment schedules daily
Review charts and adjusts daily provider schedules to ensure accuracy in scheduling and visit preparedness
With additional training:
Greet incoming patients, obtain initial vital signs (Height, Weight, BP, Pulse, Respirations) and in accordance with predefined metrics
Document pertinent patient care information
Prepare rooms for new patients
Stock room supplies and carts
Utilize and maintain supplies to minimize waste
Required qualifications for this position includes:
Preferred qualifications for this position includes:
One (1) year of medical office -OR- healthcare experience
Basic experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and/or computerized billing systems
Medical terminology experience
Rooming position: CNA, non-credentialed MA, EMT experience, or similar experience
