Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Principal Enterprise Engineer PSJH to our location in Seattle, WA; Redmond, WA; Portland, OR; Irvine, CA or Beaverton, OR.

We are seeking a Principal Enterprise Engineering Architect PSJH to work with stakeholders, both leadership and subject matter experts, to build a holistic view of the organization's strategy, processes, information, and information technology assets. The role of the Principle Enterprise Engineering Architect is to take this knowledge and ensure that the business and IT are in alignment. The Principle Enterprise Engineering Architect leads the efforts that links the business mission, strategy, and processes of an organization to its IT strategy, and documents this using multiple architectural models or views that show how the current and future needs of an organization will be met in an efficient, sustainable, agile, and adaptable manner.

Principle Enterprise Engineering Architects lead the development of a single holistic enterprise architecture model for the whole of the organisation, from all architecture perspectives (Business Services, Business Processes, Information, Applications and Technology). They ensure the Enterprise Architecture is closely aligned to the business Strategy, Business Operating Model and IT strategy, and satisfies all enterprise architecture requirements.

Principle Enterprise Architects operate across organizational and "silos" to drive common approaches and expose information assets and processes across the enterprise. Their goal is to deliver an architecture that supports the most efficient and secure IT environment meeting a company's business needs

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Align of IT strategy and planning with company's business goals.

  • Optimize of information management through an understanding of evolving business needs and technology capabilities.

  • Promote of shared infrastructure and applications to reduce costs and improve information flow. Ensure that projects do not duplicate functionality or diverge from each other and business and IT strategies.

  • Lead architects and subject matter experts (SME) to provide a consensus based enterprise solution that is scalable, adaptable and in synchronization with ever-changing business needs.

  • Risk Management of information and IT assets through appropriate standards and security policies.

  • Direct or indirect involvement in the development of policies, standards and guidelines that direct the selection, development, implementation and use of Information Technology within the enterprise.

  • Lead Governance and Compliance efforts.

  • Build employee knowledge and skills in specific areas of expertise.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • 10 or more years of advanced leadership responsibilities.

  • 10 or more years of heald architecture related roles and responsibilities.

  • 10 or more years of experience being the subject matter expert in one or more domain areas.

  • Project and program management planning and organizational skills.

  • Analytical skills.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Enterprise Architecture and Engineering experience in a Citrix environment of more than 25,000 concurrent users.

  • Enterprise Architecture and Engineering experience with a large Electronic Health Record (EHR) system in an inpatient and ambulatory context, such as Epic, MEDITECH, or Cerner (non-RHO).

  • Experience designing and deploying Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops in a hybrid-cloud environment across multiple customer managed datacenters and public cloud regions.

  • Experience designing and deploying Citrix ADC platforms across multiple sites, including public cloud regions, utilizing Global Server Load-Balancing.

  • Experience with developing custom tools using PowerShell and/or REST APIs.

  • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.

  • One or more of the following qualifications:

  • Citrix Certified Expert – Virtualization (CCE-V)

  • Citrix Certified Expert – Networking (CCE-N)

  • Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect

  • Epic Client Systems Administrator (ECSA)

  • Epic Operational Database Administrator (ODBA)
