Providence Health & Services Quality Improvement Coordinator in Portland, Oregon
Providence is calling a Quality Improvement Coordinator (1.0 FTE, Days) to Providence Office Park in Portland, OR.
This position supports 200 clinics within Providence Medical Group and Clinical Programs with meeting organizational goals relating to quality metrics that then support in clinic reports out to payers (Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance) the level of quality and value of care for each of our patients. This role works directly with leadership to address quality improvement initiatives as it relates to clinic performance and acts as a consultant to clinical teams to ensure we provide the appropriate tools to meet quality expectations.
A successful candidate would have a background in data analytics/project management, and be comfortable in a clinic-facing role that works directly with all levels of leadership across Oregon.

In this position, you will:
Perform activities in four key areas:
Work in collaboration with administration in continuous process improvement throughout region.
Drive clinical quality improvement within Providence Medical Group, specialty clinics, and Clinical Programs as a champion for Quality Improvement (QI) efforts.
Perform internal coordination of clinical quality improvement activities.
Provide support of QI Program administration activities.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor of Art (BA)/Bachelor of Science (BS) -or- 5 continuous years of experience in heatlhcare or health plan quality management, quality improvement or project management
Experience in project management, program evaluation, team facilitation, data analysis, and/or medical management
1 year of quality management/quality improvement experience
Strong experience in Excel functions, Powerpoint presentation developing, including graph/chart functions within these programs
