Providence Regional Director, Children's Services in Portland, Oregon
We are seeking a Regional Director, Children's Services that will develop long-term strategic plans for a comprehensive, connected Children's service line, as well as implement new and/or improved business models and lines of business to align with the Providence Women and Children's growth strategies and vision. Vital to the growth strategy is physician alignment and outreach. Responsibilities include: working with regional physician groups to research and develop specific business strategies to meet community needs; defining data and resources required for implementation; working with internal and external stakeholders to develop business or improvement plans for identified Children's Services initiatives and projects; and overseeing Children's Services program development and triple aim performance measures as well as ROI evaluation process. This position is integral to achieving population health and business objectives for the Women & Children's Program. This position will also partner with other regional and system departments to ensure alignment with Providence Health & Services strategy and assure Oregon alignment with system initiatives for quality, safety, and clinical standardization.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Participate in the development and execution of long-term strategic planning to support Women and Children's Program growth strategies and vision for Children's Services
Able to analyze and trend economic, market, and competitive program data
Develop business plans and capital requests for new programs, products and services, Plan include the operational and financial viability of new or improved services lines
Provide leadership across all PH&S Regional and System entities involved in the care of children, to achieve connected and integrated care delivery to children
Establish goals and objectives, policies and procedures and standards for Children's Services, including Regional Data Services and Quality Program
Coordinate activities with appropriate Regional and System PH&S departments as necessary
Interview and hire for direct reports and ensure they are properly trained, oriented and mentored in their position
Manage performance of direct reports
Provide annual performance evaluations, on-going feedback, coaching and corrective action as appropriate
Provide leadership to Triple Aim performance for Children's Services including coordination of Providence System initiatives within the Oregon Region, with System Clinical Program Services, and with other health systems
Manage complex projects with strategic importance and/or orchestrate the development of business plans for System Clinical Program Services and the Oregon Region
Provide leadership for program development to support strategic vision and plans related to new or improved lines of business for the Women and Children's program
Facilitate and participate in committees with cross-functional teams within the Women and Children's Program and throughout PH&S
Required qualifications for this position includes:
Master's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related fields
Five (5) years of Progressively increasing responsibility in healthcare management or administrative positions, including accountability for operations and/or project budget performance
Two (2) years of Experience leading and mentoring direct reports and managing their performance
Demonstrated experience in developing successful working relationships with physicians and management staff
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
