Providence Regional Staffing/Payroll Specialist *Days* in Portland, Oregon

Regional Staffing/Payroll Specialist

This position will work 12-hour Day shifts and weekend rotations are included. Hours are 7:30am – 8pm. This role operates in a hybrid model so some days each week will be worked in the office and some days each week will be worked remotely.

The Regional Staffing/Payroll Specialist will process payroll/time data in accordance with labor contracts to partner with systems payroll to produce complete and accurate payroll checks for the staff supported by this service. Other responsibilities include: all payroll close activities. Supports the Operations Coordinator and Operations Manager of the Regional Clinical Resources Department for various assigned responsibilities. Provide a variety of staffing functions and services for the Department of Nursing.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications:

  • 3 years nursing experience, other hospital experience, or staffing/scheduling experience.

  • 1 year Kronos experience in last 5 years OR;

  • 6 months of Kronos experience in the last twelve (12) months.

  • 1 year staffing/scheduling experience within Kronos in last five years OR;

  • 6 months of staffing/scheduling experience within Kronos in the last 12 months.

  • Kronos time/attendance, scheduling/staffing experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 1 year timekeeping/payroll experience within Kronos in last five years OR 6 months of timekeeping/payroll experience within Kronos in the last 12 months.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Power Point.
