Providence Health & Services RN Coordinator - Valve Clinic in Portland, Oregon


Providence is calling a RN Coordinator - Valve Clinic (0.0 FTE, Days) to Providence St. Vincent in Portland, OR.

In this position, you will:

  • Be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive valvular heart disease program internally and externally.

  • Be responsible for multiple aspects of the valve program including outreach, operational roll out and day to day oversight of the program.

  • Be a liaison with hospitals that are part of the Providence valve program, ensuring that hospitals are satisfied with all components.

  • Collaborate with key clinical and administrative leaders at Providence, the Coordinator ensures that the managers and physicians are aware of all aspects of the valve program in place and ensure supporting infrastructure.

  • Be a liaison with all referring physicians and coordinate all outreach, new technology implementation and education.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing with Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

  • Registered Nurse (RN) Masters in Nursing preferred

  • Current Registered Nurse state license in good standing

  • Must have a current, valid Oregon State driver's license

  • 5 years of clinical experience in acute care emergency services and/or cardiac interventions
