Providence is calling a Sales Service Specialist II - Group Sales with the Providence Health Plan Partners for our location in the Portland/Beaverton/Vancouver area.
The Sales Service Specialist II supports the commercial Account Executives, Account Managers, and other Sales team members as assigned in ongoing service activities by representing Providence Health Plans (PHP) to existing and prospective clients, producers and other departments via email, telephone and in person. The Sales Service Specialist serves as an integral member of the Commercial Sales Department and as such influences policies, processes and procedures relating to Commercial Sales.
Bachelor's Degree -OR- 3 years’ experience in all aspects of employer sponsored medical plans. Work experience using ability to write clear and concise emails. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills.
3 years experience communicating with customers.
3 years experience with the ability to work in a detail oriented position with demonstrated ability to independently analyze data, situations and problem solve.
3 years experience with proven ability to organize and prioritize in order to meet internal and external required deadlines without prompting.
3 years experience with ability to answer peer questions with clear, concise and correct answers.
3 years experience with ability to adhere to Sales protocols, policies and procedures.
3 years experiene with strong oral, written and interpersonal skills with emphasis on courteous and responsive telephone etiquette.
3 years experience with ability to independently compose basic business correspondence; including but not limited to offering written explanations of Providence Health Plan policies and procedures.
- 3 years experience being cross-trained in Large and Small Group Renewals or new group set up and quoting.
