Providence Health & Services Videographer, Equipment Technician in Portland, Oregon
This on-call position with available hours between 7am-7:30pm, Mon-Fri. You will also be required to take part in our standby/call rotation. Standby hours are 3p to midnight, and midnight to 7am, Mon-Fri. Saturday and Sunday all day.
You will be pre-scheduled for open shifts and have visibility to available hours at least 4 weeks in advance. We are seeking candidates who are available to work a minimum of 20 hours per month.
In this position, you will:
Maintain, operate, and or support specialized equipment during surgical procedures in operating room (OR), Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR), Anesthesia, post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), Short Stay Unit (SSU), and Endo.
Be responsible for management of relevant material resources and quality control of equipment used within surgical services.
Make recommendations for purchasing, tracking, preventative maintenance, use, repair, storage, and inventory of equipment.
Help to plan and organize the implementation of equipment and or projects within surgical services as needed.
Provide material and educational training to staff regarding the use and support of this equipment within surgical services.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in videography
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification at time of hire
Proven proficiency using personal computer, software applications and database management
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Advanced training with surgical lasers, image guided surgical software, MIS video equipment and other equipment used in surgical services
