Providence Health & Services Credentialed Medical Assistant - Dermatology in Tigard, Oregon
Providence is calling a Credentialed Medical Assistant to Providence Medical Group Bridgeport Clinic in Tigard, OR.
Do you have dermatology experience, or have you wanted to work in a busy clinic at the top of your scope? This position is for you! Come join our thriving clinic where you will participate in procedures and spend most of the day with your patients and Provider.
This position is full time (40 hours/week). The clinic is open Monday through Friday. This position will be four, 10 hour shifts with your day off matching your Provider.
In this position, you will:
Work closely with a team of staff including physicians and advanced level providers to ensure the delivery of high quality patient care.
Assist with exams and procedures, administer medications, and perform tests under the supervision of a licensed medical provider.
CMA, Certified Medical Assistant, C.M.A.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited medical assistant (MA) program
Credentialing through a nationally recognized Medical Assistant program such as Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), National Healthcareer Association (NHA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), or National Association for Healthcare Professionals (NAHP)
If not currently credentialed, this position will require successfully obtaining Medical Assistant Certification within 60 days from date of hire
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) for the Healthcare Provider
Obtain appropriate certification(s) within designated time frame for a particular field of practice
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
6 months of recent experience working as a medical assistant
Experience in dermatology practice
