Providence Health & Services Patient Experience Specialist in Wilsonville, Oregon

Description:

Providence is calling a Patient Experience Specialist (1.0 FTE, Days) to Providence Wilsonville Clinic in Wilsonville, OR.

In this position, you will:

  • Be the first point of contact for new customers calling Providence Medical Group to establish care.

  • Provide highly effective communication, concierge service, and on-going liaison support to ease the way of new patients, patients moving to a new clinic, or established patients calling before their clinics open.

  • Support Express Care, Express Care Virtual clinics, and Immediate Care clinics.

  • Be responsible for coordination and scheduling of appointments, accurately collecting information and performing on-boarding activities for new patients which will be performed on a daily basis.

  • Work closely with Providence Health Plan and ensure that the scheduling standards are met.

  • Complete manual tracking of appointments and provide to Providence Medical Group (PMG) Senior Leadership to help with Access decision making.

  • Accomplish additional admin duties as needed.

  • Provide excellent customer service to all callers while still achieving performance standards in regards to telephone metrics (Answer speed, talk time, after call time, abandonment rate, etc).

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 2 years of customer service experience

  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Windows and Office applications

  • Typing speed: 45 words per minute

  • Bilingual

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Some college

  • 1 year of medical office or healthcare experience

  • Epic experience

  • Medical terminology experience

  • Bilingual in Spanish and/or Russian
